About this policy
Tepper Psychology respects your privacy. This policy explains what information this website collects, how it is used and your rights. Clinical records created during therapy are covered by the practice’s separate client privacy and consent information, provided at your first appointment.
Information collected through this website
- Enquiry and booking forms: your name, contact details, contact preferences, the type of support you’re interested in, appointment preferences and any short message you choose to include.
- Technical information: standard server logs kept by the website host to keep the site secure and working. This website does not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies.
Please don’t send detailed health information through the website. Karen will discuss that with you privately.
How form enquiries are handled
Enquiries are sent by email to the practice so Karen can respond. They are not stored in the website’s database. Emails are kept in the practice’s secure Microsoft Outlook mailbox. If you become a client, your enquiry may form part of your clinical record, which is kept securely for as long as required by Victorian health records law.
Disclosure
Your information is not sold or shared for marketing. It is only disclosed where you consent or where required or permitted by law.
Access and correction
You can ask to access or correct personal information the practice holds about you by contacting karen@tepperpsychology.com.au.
Complaints
If you have a privacy concern, please contact the practice first. You can also contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
